change outlook03 to mail on top preview on bottom like 2000

We updated our Outlook 2000 to the '03 version. How can I move the Preview
Window to the bottom of the screen, instead of on the right side in a column?
How can I close/minimize the menu tree on the left?
 
You can move the Reading Pane from the submenu on the View menu. View menu >
Reading Pane > Bottom
