Change keys?

When i started out with Windows XP i hade A VPK key (volume pass key) now
that its been cancelled i purchesed another key , how do i change the keys? i
can t up date and i ve been searching for the past hour and still have no
luck.

As long as the new key is also a Volume License key:

If the keys are not the same type, that procedure will not work and a Repair
