Going Crazy

Was receiving all message in my inbox in HTML and then some of them starting
coming in Plain Text. How do I change my inbox to receive everything in HTML.
My junk mail I do not care about

just say NO to PDF

You can't unless it was *sent* in HTML.
Much spam these days seems to be plaintext.

If *everything* was coming in as plaintext, you could look at:
Help, Privacy Options, E-mail Security, Read as Plain Text, "Read all
standard mail in plain text"
....but that is not your problem, right?

Cheers!

I too, have the same problem. I was getting email in HTML, as I wanted it,
then "suddenly one day" some are only in text, some ARE in HTML, and some are
the links with no underline, no blue type gobble-de-gook and I can't
successfully copy the what-looks-like-HTML-links to my browser and have them
open. Very frustrated. If it was all emails, I would know what to do. I
turned off AVG's email virus scanning option with no change. I too, am
"Going Crazy." Help us please!

Some of the plain text messages are okay but some seem to have been written
in HMTL and changed by the 2007 program to almost unreadable. I was receiving
an e-emails from SME daily breifing me what was happening in the
manunacturing industry and all at once it started coming in Plain Text and
screwed up configuration.

I too have this problem on about three e-mails that I regularly get from a safe source. They used to always come in as HTML and about three weeks ago they started coming in plain text and is unreadable. However, I still have many that continue to come in as HTML and my settings are to read e-mails in HTML. I would love to get an answer on how to fix it!

Thanks.

My problem stopped happening - the only thing I can figure out is that I
hadn't rebooted after turning off AVG's email scanning option - I had
described the problem as still happening after turning the option off but
hadn't rebooted. All my mail was coming in fine after rebooting. (I
couldn't remember where I had written about the problem, here, duh.... sorry
I didn't reply back - just stumbled over this again.) If you don't have AVG,
try turning off any other email scanning software...? this is the only
explanation I came up with - but all is good with the world again. :)
