Change home page from default to index?

I am using FP 2002. I am transferring to a new webhost. Their home page
shows as index.html. The FP home page on my website on my computer shows the
home page as default.htm. I am using the FP extensions on my localhost.

My new webhost says I need to change default.htm to index.html. Can someone
please tell me how to do this in FP 2002?

Right-click and rename the file and FrontPage will fix the links to it.

Thanks David, but it did not work. Destroyed most of the navigation
structure of my site.

Any other way of dealing with this problem? Surely it cannot be unique.

If you are publishing to a server that has the FP extensions via FP's http
mode then during the publishing operation FP will automatically rename the
home to what is required on the destination server and update all links and
navigation.

After renaming the file from default.htm to index.html in Folder List right click it and select ~ make this home page, then View
Navigation and make any Nav view corrections (dragging pages to the correct place under your new home page)
