change default open view

Tony

I have a user that would like there default open view to be details instead
of preview mode when they click open in Powerpoint 2003
Am I missing something... i can't seem to get the default veiw to stick
when I click on open, I change it to details but every time I go back to
open it defaults back to preview mode. How can I get this to change. This
is only occuring in Powerpoint but not in Excel or Word.
Thanks,
Tony

The default view is hard coded into PowerPoint and can not be changed
without a bit of coding.
