Though I have not checked all the aircraft in Battle for Europe, I noticed
that the Mustang in free flight seems to operate just fine. But when I
switch to dogfight it is far from manuverable. All the other planes I believe
behave properly but I am not an expert. While playing a lot of this game this
problem really stands out as a sore spot. I uninstalled and reinstalled with
the same results. I am running XP Pent4 3.2 RAM is 1gig and I have a Radeon
Pro 120mb card.
Any suggestions?

Checked for external fuel tanks on the plane?

Actually the first time I did notice that I had managed to carry two bombs
for awhile. I did remove them with only a very little improvement. The free
flight is so dramatically different than combat that I avoid using the
Mustang. The Spitfire is great! I was hoping to have the same or better out
of the mustang. Since I am not an expert is it possible that something
running in the background could be causing issues? But then why wouldn't it
effect the rest of the game? Thank you for responding
