Cell in Excel 2003 shows #REF!, but fine with Excel 2002

Hi

my colleagues are having some problems with a file created by a Excel 2002,
cells appears fine on it. But some cell displays #REF! when opening it with
Excel 2003. Is there a compatibility issue?
