This is strictly not a Windows questions but I am hoping someone can help
me.

When I burn a cd with data , sometimes it allows me to append further stuff
on it a later date and sometimes even when there is space on it, it does not
allow me to append any further data. Especially if I am putting pictures on
to a cd, even if it has only say 3 pictures on it, when I go back it will
not allow me to put any more data or pictures.

What do I have to do to append further stuff onto a disc?

Any help will be appreciated.

In order to append to a mastered cd, it needs to be recorded in multi
session. This is an option in your software. For most this is the
default setting for data, but you need to check.

The built in winxp burning utility does multi session, but I found it
problematic and never use it.
