Burning cd

Meher Shroff

This is strictly not a Windows questions but I am hoping someone can help
me.

When I burn a cd with data , sometimes it allows me to append further stuff
on it a later date and sometimes even when there is space on it, it does not
allow me to append any further data. Especially if I am putting pictures on
to a cd, even if it has only say 3 pictures on it, when I go back it will
not allow me to put any more data or pictures.

What do I have to do to append further stuff onto a disc?

Any help will be appreciated.

This is because you sometime choose to write a MultiSession Disc and
sometimes not. For example, if you are using Nero Express then before
clicking the Burn button there is an option below the "Writing Speed"
something link "Allow Data to be added later" or "Multi Session Disc", if it
is check than that means you want to create a multi-session disc to your
remaining space in future. If you always want to use the blank space on a
written CD then make this option checked.

Read the following discussion for more information.

Hope this is what you were missing, let us know!
