how di I stop cd/games etc automaticaly loading when first put in the cd draw?

Go to My Computer. Right-click your CD drive and choose Properties.
Click the AutoPlay tab and then either click Prompt me each time to choose
an action or
click Select an action to perform and then select Take no action. Click
Apply
You will need to do this for each content type.

You can also just hold down the Shift key until the drive stops loading.

Hold down the shift key for twenty seconds when inserting a CD.
