CDRW

XP Pro will not save to or run from the CDRW. I installed a new one. Same
problem. Windows sees the CDRW it just does not see anything on the CD and
will not save anything to the CD. When I try to save to it the bubble pops up
by the system clock saying "you have files ready to be written to CD" but
when I go through the CD writing wizard it asks for a CD to be inserted. I've
tried several different brands of CD. Put in a Windows CD just to see if it
could read. Disconnected the DVD player. Checked the jumpers. Any ideas?

So it reads/writes nothing..?
You have replaced the DRIVE and it still reads nothing?
Have you replaced the cable?
Checked for bent pins?
Made sure any jumper settings are correct?
Tried a different controller?
Tried the CD Drive in another machine?

The CDRW shows in my computer. I have replaced the CDRW. Everytime I try to
save to it the Wizard comes up and askes to have a cdrw inserted. I have put
a Windows CD in it and it cannot be read.
