CDRW Cannot erase or format

I have a CDRW/DVD drive does have option for format or erase for CDRW disc.
Moreover the properties shows no free space. Any idea?

Try using the software that came with your CD-RW drive (Nero or Easy CD or
?), not the built in software in Windows XP.

If you burned it using the inbuilt software, that is really a CD-R
method, in batches as ISO sessions. There is no space *within* such
sessions, though you can add more, and free space always shows as zero.

If you put in a CD-RW written by that (in sessions) a right click Menu
may invite you to select a session - but after that, at least, it should
provide an 'Erase this CD-RW' option there
