XP, packet writing and CD-RWs???

When I use the built in CD burning capability in XP to
burn data to a CDRW, I cannot erase indiviual files on
the CDRW once burned, but I can add files - I get the
message something like "Read only file - cannot erase -
but you can add files to this CD". It seems XP is
basically treating my CD-RW as a CD-R. No?

I know packet writing software such as InCD can format a
drive such that you can use a CDRW disc as a big floppy
disk - writing and then deleting individual files over
and over.

Can I use the built in XP burning capability to use a
CDRW in this fashion? If so, how?

Thanks
Bob

The native CD Recording program in Windows XP does not
support the erasure of individual files on a CD-RW CD.
You'll need a third-party CD Recording program if you
desire this feature.
