is a error code 19...but running "scanreg" show NO
problem with the registry..also have deleted the devices

Try this link

http://www.jagweb.org/hd_dllerror.htm

This will tell you

"Your registry may be bad. (Code 19)

This code means that the registry returned an unknown result so, run
Scanreg.exe. If this does not resolve the issue, type "scanreg /restore"
(without quotation marks) from a command prompt. Finally, remove the device
from Device Manager, and then redetect it using the Add New Hardware tool in
Control Panel."

Hi Rick,

See if this helps:

Save the file below to your hard drive. Navigate to where you saved it and
double click the file. A confirmation dialog will appear when the script is
done. You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.

This is probably because something along the line has left a hanging
reference to a 'driver style' file for the devices. To tidy up, get a
registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry, and reboot

You will then need to reinstall any burning software that you use.
