CDROM not reading newly inserted CD

I am running Win XP Pro. Fro som reason, when I change
a CDrom, Windows XP does not recognize the new CD I put
in. Hitting refresh from the menu on MY computer does
not help. IT still thinks I have the other CD in. In
order for the CD to be accessible, I need to right click
the drive, and click eject, then push CDROM closed. Then
it will see new CD.

What can I do to fix this?
