hi

can I make a bootable CD instaed of a bootable floppy floppy by just using
my CDRW.
For a utility program which requires a bootable floppy. I dont have a floppy
drive you see

how would I do this?

hi there
i would use ahead's nero to do that. but pretty much any cd writing software
should be able to do it. Just burn the files that are sposed to go on the
floppy to the cd and tell your pc to boot from cdrom it should then work fine.

Hmm... I read the other answer and IIRC Nero will ask for the floppy. (It
did the last time I tried to make one though I gave up at that point and
just did it manually using the below for the most part.)

Get your copy of the bootdisk in question there and then burn it to CD.
