Works ok although registers buffer errors in the XP Event Log but this
doesn't see to affect the burns.

What's the exact version of CDburnerXP-Pro that you're
using?
Thanks.
The computer I just bought used had no CD software.
What's the exact version of CDburnerXP-Pro that you're using?
Excuse me, I asked Hummingbird what version she/he was using since she
wasn't having a problem with it.

v3.0.116.
Thank you. That's the version that comes up with an error and doesn't burn
Audio CDs. The CDBurnerXP-Pro error says it's "Under Development." I'll
download it from another site and try it again.

XP-Pro-SP2, not XP-Home Edition. Maybe that's the problem?
There is a user-forum for this product, maybe ask there...
Also, in another thread you said it was v3.5 which didn't work
...maybe you have two versions which don't work?
honyakusha said:Come to think of it, last week I tried to burn an audio CD and it
wouldn't work (V3.0.116, Windows 2000). After about 6 to 8 tries, I
finally gave up. Later, I fiddled around and I found all the recorded
tracks on the CD. Maybe I didn't do it right, but some error always
popped up in the midst of recording mp3 files on to a CD.
Thanks for the info. I'll check for other versions - maybe my version is
too old.

free. I've been using it long time and I have had no problems with it
at all. It is very good CD burning program. Please, give it a try.
You can download it here: (147 MB)

I used it with XP Home SP1 without any problems. I now have SP2hummingbird said:The only difference between your rig and mine is that I'm running

Markku V. said:I tried it also and got 'file not found'. Strange since I copy-pasted
the link from a another forum:

Let us just try this once more:
http://www.roxio.de/adban/download/winoncd6/winoncd6pe.exe
And if it does not work just find the proper address from the link
above.
