I recently reformatted my PC and the CD RW Recorder no longer works.
Inserting either a music or data CD, the read light blinks momentarily but
nothing happens. Going to My Computer, Drive D - there's no files listed.
Device Manager says it's working properly. I tried updating the driver - the
Wizard couldn't find a better one. My DVD player seems to be working
correctly, and I didn't have to do anything to get it to work after the
reformat. After crashing my PC, reformatting and reinstalling Windows, this
CD RW Recorder seems to be the only thing not working.
I'm using WinXP Home, and I was using it before the reformat, too.

You need to download the driver with the encoder. You need to go to the
website of the computer and look for driver support and download the encoder.
Now....You computer came with a number of disks one of then have the
download.
