cd-rw doesn't recognize blank disks in Windows XP only

Since I set up a dual-boot system, my CD-RW drive no longer
recognizes blank CDs for writing, but only in Windows XP.
It works fine in Linux. I know this is hardware, and
sounds like a software problem, but I thought someone here
might have an idea. I've tried re-installing Roxio Easy CD
Creator. 5.1 Basic.

I had the same problem when I upgraded from Me to XP. I thought it
might be a hardware problem, so I went out yesterday and bought
a brand new Memorex 52X CD-RW drive and installed it, with Nero 5
software. I still have the same problem I had with the old drive and
the Windows CD write program. Now I have a really great, fast CD-RW
drive that I can use as a drink coaster, because I can't use it.
This is obviously a Windows XP problem. Why doesn't Microsoft
address the issue with a new driver or software update? This is
not only frustrating, it's getting expensive!

Hi,
Ive managed to install my router a D-Link 604+ and connect both my
main computer & laptop to it. I now want to link my laptop wirelessly to
it to use the printer (USB attached to the main computer)

Can anyone advise me how to do it please?

Paul
