cd-rw will show a disc in when there isn't one, it will also show at times it
is writing when it isn't - the drawer will open and close by it self. Both my
cd-rw and dvd will disappear from My Computer when I checked My Computer it
says they are working properly. Where can I find a cd cleaner? thank you

Most probably you should just replace the drive as it is exhibiting
symptoms of dying. A cd-rw/dvd-rom drive is inexpensive.

If it's an external drive, try a different USB/Firewire cable.

CD cleaner is a physical item. You can order one from an online store,
or visit a local computer shop to buy one.

Have you noticed any other unusual antic's apart from the
CD/DVD tray opening closing?
This may seem totally unrelated, but are there password
protected multiple users for that specific PC?
