CD-ROM

I install a new CD-ROM made by Cendyne which included a
CD NERO BURNING ROM 5.0 version which I downloaded on my
desk top, every time I incert a CD on that drive I get a
window from NER which is called InCD which formats the
CD. I will like to unistall the NER software and go back
to windows opening CD's, the proble is that if I
unistall NERO, the computer don't recognise my CD driver
and can't operate the CD's, how I can go back to the
original set up of Windows XP.

See if this helps: "CD-ROM Access Is Missing and Messages Cite Error
Code 31, Code 32, Code 19, or Code 39 After You Remove Easy CD Creator
in Windows XP" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314060).

INCD has got nothing to do with nero, except the same company made them. Uninstall just InCD. Nero turns off XP CD Burner - but they can both be on at the same time. You get to choose what happens when you put CD in. InCD can co-exist as well.

R/c the Drive in My Computer and turn on CD Burning - this refes only to XP's burning software. When you want to make a disk you choose which one does it.
