CD Rom

OKAY, I just reinstalled XP, formatted and all that, now
everything is working great, but there is 1 problem i
seem to have no cd-rom, im "my computer" there is only
disk E, disk C and floppy. Where did my CD-Rom go?When i
put a CD into my drive it wont automatically start so i
have to go to "my computer" and manually click on CD, but
it is gone. Is there a driver i can download or what
should i do??

You should have the driver on your disk

Right click on MY COMPUTER and select "manage" then on the
window that open, select "device manager" and look for the
CD-ROM and the IDE drives and controllers. There are
troubleshooting methods built-in, but I start by deleting
the drives and even the IDE controllers. Then re-boot and
the controllers and drives should be detected as "new" and
the drivers installed.
