cd rom

my cd rw drive has a problem - the drawer stays open,if you push it in it
opens by itself and it also will not read data. I have noticed the front
light is yellow, should it be green ? any help appreciated

It sounds like your cd-rom drive has died. You can test it by seeing if
it works in another computer, but a new cd-rom drive is under $20usd so
just replacing it is a good idea.
