A friend of mine recently sent me a cd containing pictures
and movie clips he had made. The prolbem is when I insert
the disc my computer recognizes that there is a disc
inserted but it doesnt recognize anything on the disc. I
can see that there is in fact stuff recorded to the disc
by looking at the surface of the disc. I dont have any
Idea how to correct this problem

Hi Eric,

Is this the only that does this? If so, it may simply be that your CD drive
is not capable of reading the format that the CD was burned in. This would
be especially true if he used the UDF format, as WinXP's capabilities in
this area are very limited.
