When I put a cd in either drive, a matshita cd rom drive
and a hp cdrw, the cd spins up and then the system
reboots, every freaking time, no mater if its a data or
music cd. I have tried disabling the autoplay and that
doesn't help. I checked the event viewer and have pasted
in the error below. I searched on this site and only found
a reference to ms messanger, similiar but not exactly the
same error. That didn't help.

I have tried the following:
1. uninstalling and then installing them seperatly
2. switching out the cable
3. installing a brand new power supply

Nothing has worked.

I am at wits end here. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Here is the info from event viewer.

Could be the controller on the MB. Are the 2 CD drives on
the secondary chain? Try moving one to the primary chain
and see if you can read a CD in it.

The COM+ Service is disabled on my computer and everything
works...
