PC freezes for 4 mins after connecting to Internet.

Hi, I hope someone can help me!

I'm running Win XP, SP2, on a IBM (Lenovo) X41 Tablet PC.

Randomly my PC will appear to freeze up for about 4 to 5 minutes, when I
connect to the internet using Wireless Broadband modem. If i'm connected
using Ethernet Broadband modem, it doesn't appear to happen.

If I click on any application, or even the start button nothing happens,
until the 'freeze' finishes, and then the PC kicks off any applications that
I tried to run whilst it was frozen.

There are 3 messages that come up in Event Viewer (see below) at the same
time as this occurs. I have searched to try and find a solution, but with no
luck.

The closest I have got is a Microsoft Article, on Event 4354 - that refers
to Microsoft Messenger etc, and I have tried all that is recommended, but
that didn't resolve the situation...

Can anyone tell me, is there a way of seeing what application (or thing?) is
hogging my laptop during this 4 minutes??

P.S. I'm running McAfee Complete Suite - so antivirus, antihacker, firewall,
spam, and privacy service.

I also get Microsoft updates continually, and keep away from any dodgy
looking websites...

i'm having the same problem, although I have never waited it out...once
it freezes I just unplug the computer and start again...I too can not
find a solution....

hopefully someone will be able to provide some insight...
