There are a lot of cd repair disks being advertised. are they any goo
and if so which is the best

There are? What kind of repair disks? Programs to repair your PC? If yes,
I've never found any programs of this type to be exceptional and worth the
$. "Never" is a strong word but the operating system has many useful tools
already included and there are many good free utilities available. Because
of that and after being disappointed by the few fixit programs that I have
tried, I don't bother to look twice at these packages.

If on the other hand, you mean "repair disks" for cleaning a cdrom drive or
repair kits for dirty scratched CDs. Have never bought any so can't say.

generalize. Give a specific program you want information about.
