Hi Craig,

Do you have a third-party burning program installed? If so, you need to
start/run services.msc and double-click the Imapi burning service. "Stop"
the service and set the startup type to disabled. The error message occurs
as WinXP is detecting a conflict between it and your burning software.

You had a burning package which was incompatible with XP and has been
removed - probably Easy CD Creator. It has left 'orphaned' registry
entries. To tidy up, get a registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry

You will then need to reinstall any third party burning software that
you use.
