cd-r disk read as blank disc

I have a cd-r disk and XP reads it as a blank disk and
shows nothing on it, but on another comp it contains all
its files
any help needed
 
Was it burned as a multi-session cd? Can your cd drive/burner read
multi-session cds? Not all do.
