cd not reading or playing,

carol

My device manager says the device is working properly.
Also on the errors log it says the device cdrom has a bad
block. What is a bad block and how do I fix it?

Hi Carol,

Could be a bad drive, but more likely the drive cable is loose. Open the
case and reseat the drive cabling.
