CD ejecting during use.

Hi:

Machine is a Compaq workstation (Evo) with XP Professional.

This problem is with a game CD but I wonder why. During the course of the
game the CD will eject. When this happens I don't see or hear anything and
try to continue, the game locks up or fails.

I am not sure what is causing this to happen.

The drive is a DVD/CD-RW combo drive. Any ideas? Is there a reg hack I can
do?

Yes the game is on multiple CDs but not at a point where it should ask for

Does the cd feel really hot when it ejects? Do any other cd's do this?
If not, then check with the game mftr.'s tech support. Maybe you have a
bad cd. If you are having problems with other cd's, then I'd definitely
lean toward the drive itself being bad.
