CD will be placed in a CD or DVD
drive and then after an auto.exe is run or not run, the drive will no
longer
eject by the drive pushbutton until the system is rebooted. Software
eject
doesn't work. I just reboot after it happens

what do i do in this case?

End auto.exe (If exist) in Task manager > Process tab.

This is not a perfect solution, i am sure you will get an answer that will solve your
issue, but for now try this.
If this happens only to a single cd, then the file that is autorun when you insert
the CD is not created properly.

Sounds like a driver or firmware issue. Go to your CD manufactures site and
see if there are any firmware updates. At the same site, check if there are
any driver updates. Also, make sure you are using the correct drivers for
your specific CD drive.
