cd/dvd rom

i was recentely trying new burning programs and while i was deleting some of
the progrms i didnt want i somehow srewed up my cd and dvd drives. when i
click on my comp. both drives do not show up. On my device manager they
are highlighted with a yellow exclamation mark. I tried to uninstall and
then reinstall and it didnt work .. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?????

I hope you were uninstalling and not simply deleting programs that you
didn't want.

Have a look at this MSKB article, "CD-ROM Access Is Missing and Messages

(don't let the full title of the article mislead you, as it is applicable in
circumstances that don't involve Easy CD Creator)
