CD/DVD ROM drives

I have been getting these 2 messages on my home computer and can't find
how to disable or remove the restrictions. These are the 2 warning I am
getting
1. Administrator has prohited access to CD/DVD ROM drives.
2. Administrator has restricted this computer to access USB/1394 mass
storage drives.

you probably need to log in as adminstrator and then change your user acct to
have admin privil.'s

I would recommend against granting admin rights to your user account. This
would give full system access to any programs (perhaps a virus or a trojan)
that you run under your user account.

that is one way, although I am not sure how, but there are other ways
without making a user admin to burn:
The administrator can change the restriction by login in and
change policy or
get at the property of the drive then security, change the security there
