Cd/dvd plaver trub

My DC/DVD player on XP takes a long time to access and when I want to remove
it , it takes about 1.5 minutes to eject. When I used 98 I could left click
and get access or eject straight away. I looked at properties and there is
no way I can disable auto start. Am I missing something? Can anyone please
point me in the right direction TIA, MIke
 
yes you can take off auto start.

and theres cd rom dvd rundown times on things like that
now to make them last longer. there is a progerame free
on the net that lets you adjust them i think its called
disc speed. by nero? not 100 % but have a look a disc
tools on webattack.com
