I like this one but it costs $$$

Free ones (I have not tried them) But I hear that "deep burner" is pretty
good

Also, XP was not designed to copy cd's......but just because it wasn't
designed to do it doesn't mean that it can't. :-)

Put the cd that you wish to copy in your cd drive and the blank cd-r in your
dvd burner
next open "my computer" so all of your drives are displayed, right click on
your cd drive and select copy, next right click on your dvd drive icon and
select paste well what do ya know xp is copying a cd. For all of you
skeptics out there at least try it before you
_iss and moan at me.

This will not work if their is any encryption on the disk or with dvd's.

copy and paste sometimes only puts the "shortcut" onto the drive..

anyways.. most dvds now have copy protection encryption so you will
need a third party software to decrypt then to transfer.. i wont get
into that more...

but it can be done.

Sonic should do what you want.

I finally got to burn some video on a DVd using MS movie maker. However movie
maker didn't burn all (5) 15 sec.clips. that i imported for burning.

i see that you are trying everything..
anyways.. if they are noncopyright.. then you should be able to copy
them
try something like nero burning rom.. there is a 1 to 1 copy option
there
or try googling some other software..

I did burning of some video using MS movie maker, however 2 out of 5 videos i
imported didn't get on the DVD. The videos were about 25 MB, so itwasn't a
matter of enough disk space.
What do you think of 'nero essentials' as a basic CD?DVD software pkg?
Thanks for the feedback.

are these movies already on dvd?
look for a program that does a complete 1 to 1 copy

oh and about nero essentials im not sure what that all has..
i use nero burning 6 package which has a "copy dvd" option

These movies are video clips about 15 secs. long taken with my digital still
camera
that i upload into the MY VIDEO folder in windows XP either using a scandisk
memory card,or my camera.
