CD/DVD burning Error in XP Prof

Hi

Need help very urgently.


All of a sudden, I'm facing problem in writing CD/DVD. Everything was
working fine, incidentally I had installed Oracle Management Console on

my laptop, the CD writing functionality has been stopped.


System details:
Laptop HP Compaq series
Windows XP SP2
Sonic RecordNow 7
MATSHITA DVD RW9


Symptoms:
When I try to burn CD by Sonic - it generates error. When I try by
Windows explorer, it finishes writing, but generates error just before
the full operation finishes.


I have read and tried all Microsoft Knowledge base articles, but in
vain. The drivers are as usual working correctly. The "IMAPI CD-Burning

COM Service" also running properly.


Please help...
