cd drives don't work

I installed windows xp on my computer. My cd-rom and cd-
rw drive worked perfectly, I started installing my games
onto it, had to reboot for one of them. Now when I put a
cd into either of the drives, the computer doesn't
recognize them. Games, audio, windows. nothing. I have 3
hard drives and my two cd-drives. I got the main drive on
the first ide, and my burner and cd drive on the second
one. I got my two other hard drives on my 3rd ide, and i
got no problems with any of the hard drives. all the
jumpers and cables are set correctly and everything was
working before i rebooted. does anyone have any idea on
how to fix this? The cd and cdrw drives are there, but
they won't recognize any discs.

Suggestion:

Save the file below to your hard drive. Navigate to where you saved it and
double click the file. A confirmation dialog will appear when the script is
done. You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.
