We need more info than simply "my cd drive will not close". What have you
tried? What does it do? If there's no power to the drive, then it won't
close correctly. Does the cd drive appear in "My Computer"?
Yes -- I have pushed the button, thank you very much.
When I start the computer, it will try to close but will
only go half way and then re-opens. It does the same
thing when I push the button. It is in "My Computer" and
indicates that it is operating properly. Thanks for any
help.
This is a hardware problem, not at all related to software. So you either
need to try to fix your drive (anything besides a basic look is not
recommended) or buy a new one. Try http://www.zipzoomfly.com (previously
