Try tidying up registry references: get a registry patch file,
cdgone.reg, from www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click
on it and merge it into the registry
You will then need to reinstall any CD burning software that you use.
If that does not fix it, then there is hardware trouble. HAs the BIOS
ceased noticing it at boot?
