CD Burning

When I try to burn a CD from the library it converts all the songs and I see
the message afterwards that it is burning it but I see no activity on the PC
with the flashing light, the per cent doesn't change and it shows 4 minutes
remaining but the information never changes. Thus I wind up turning off the
PC to reboot and get the CD that is locked into the PC. Once in a while
during a reboot it will then write to the black CD at which time I am then
able to hit the button on the reader to pull the CD out. Help what is the
problem? I had it with version ten as well as the version before.
