Hello,

When burning R or RW discs all the dates of every
single file changes to the current month, day, year!

What the heck is wrong with this?

This was a problem with Adaptec software back in
1998 and had been resolved. Why didnt MS do the
same.

Is there any way to fix this?

This happens if you use the inbuilt burning,. because it uses Explorer
to make copies of the files to a holding area, and then when asked burns
these copies. Because they were newly created in the holding area they
get the date when they were put there.

If this is not satisfactory, use third party software. The inbuilt
system is a very basic one to allow novices to use a burner, and does
not really cover such issues
