Ok, I've posted this before with no solution provided.
Here it goes again....
I have narrowed down my problem to be with the Windows XP
OS. When I have my CD Burner plugged in, XP will not
recognize it. Yes, it is supposed to be compatible
(Yamaha 3200 EZ). I have uninstalled my Nero software,
so the problem is not there.
When I open XP in safe mode, the CD Rom and Burner are
both recognized in the BIOS and on my desktop. But I
can't get any further from there.
I have found support in adjusting the regedit, did that,
no solution. I have checked the Matrox video card driver
for updated version, problem not there. I have purchased
a new CD burner, problem still not solved.
I will offer a reward of undying gratitude if someone can
provide that magic answer!
