Hi All.
I couple of days ago I tried to burn a file to a Cd with my CD-RW using
Windows XP's own CD burning software. It put the file into the 'staging
folder', so when I double clicked on the CD drive, it would show the file
there. I then decided not to do it and deleted/removed the file from the CD
folder, leaving it empty. I then took the CD out and put another CD in
(with software or music on it) and it wouldn't (and still won't!) show the
contents of the CD, it doesn't even recognise that there is a CD in the
drive! When I right click on the CD drive and go to Properties, and then
the Recording tab, if 'Enable CD Recording On This Drive' is disabled, then
it asks me to put a CD into the drive, whether there is one in there or not.
If it's enabled, then it just takes me to the empty folder, which I can only
assume is the 'staging folder'.
Does anyone have any ideas? .... please?!
