CD BURNER DON'T WORK

My CD burner don't work most of the times and when it
does work it will only burn total of 10 songs. I get a
message after the CD is ejected that reads primeters are
wrong. I need to know how to set the primeters so I can
burns songs. Please contact me with any help you have.
