cd auto-read

i downloaded a cd coping program, and it suggested that i
diable my cd auto read thing, but the program ended up
not working, so i got rid of it, but my cd's dont auto-
read anymore, can someone help me re-enable them?
 
This is set from the AutoPlay tab within the Properties of your CD Rom drive
(Windows Explorer).
 
its not letting me change anything in there
