Whenever I put a CD or DVD into my CDrom drive it does not start automatically, it has nothing to do with the players I use as I have configured them to play auto start, anyone any idea? Thanks.

My Computer > right-click on the icon for your CD-ROM drive and select
Properties > select the Auto-Play tab.

Note that a CD-ROM drive will not play a DVD.

My Computer > right-click on the icon for your CD-ROM drive and select
Properties > select the Auto-Play tab.

I have tried that, it still does not work

It is a single drive that plays CD's and DVD's

Hi Ted,
Thanks very much for your help, I did what you said and the auto play is
working fine now. You wouldn't know how to fix my Automatic Updates function
would you? An error message appears when I try to open it saying....An
exception occured while trying to run shell32 dll, control_RunDLL
C\Windows\System32\wuaucpl, Automatic Udates.

Thank you.

Sorry, I was only assigned AutoA- to AutoP-. AutoQ- to AutoZ- is
somebody else.

But seriously...
