cd and dvd drives dissappeared

I have installed and new DVD drive BenQ dq60 in computer 3 months aga and now
this computer ( comp 1 ) does not see it in MY Computer. I have no access to
drive. I went and installed DVD in another computer ( comp 2 ) and works
fine, exact OS.In device manager the drive is named correct but exclamation
point on it. I have access to home network, Drive A:.
Steps I have take:
1. Uninstalled device and search for hardware changes - no luck
2. Post and windows recognizes drive and manufacture but exclamation point
3. no driver updates at manufacture
4. Update driver with result of cannot complete installation I have the most
recent drive
5 compared driver details after each time I have moved DVD form comp 1,2
6.updated IDE drivers - reinstalled all updated motherboard drivers
7.finnally copied .sys drivers (c:\windows\system32\drivers) from details
files from other computer into System32
folder

I know there is something that has been overlooked I have even looked in
services to see if something has to do with it but I am only an intermediate
user. Please help me to fix problem. Many Thanks to all that helps.
