cc Svc Hst not responding on shutdown

I'm having a problem with the above happening each and every time I shutdown
the computer. It will go into a progress bar as it tries to close cc Svc Hst
down, and when the bar is complete, it says it cannot shutdown or something
similar, then I have to hit return in order to get the computer to turn off.

I apologize as I am not very good at computer speak.

If you can shed some light on where to look for help or what to do I would
appreciate it.

ccSvcHst.exe is a component of your Norton-brand software. I suggest
contacting Symantec technical support. You can also ask your question in
the Norton Users Discussion Forum.

shutdown after installing Norton 360 2.

Mkae sure your version of NIS is the correct one or you can put the error
message in the search option to get your AV version that apply to you.

I had this problem untill yesterday when I Asked The Norton Support team for help, By letting them control my PC for a short while they have got rid of the problem and my PC is now working much faster. I am glad I trusted Norton and would do it again if needed.
