Your primary video adapter « » is not the default one.
No HAL device found.
Your videocard « » is not supported.
An entry is missing in the result database (Result not found :
directx/d3dadapter/0/caps/devcaps).

When are you getting this error message and from what? It sounds like
your video card is not supported by whatever game(s) you are trying to
run. If you want more help, supply the make/model of your video card
and the names of some of the games where you are having this issue.
Some hardware specs about your computer would be helpful also.

To find out what video card you have, go to the System applet in Control
Panel and click the button for Device Manager. Then click the little
cross to the left of Display and you will see your video card.

Some things to try
(drawn from this and connected threads
http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=11&t=129024
)

1. Enable all DirectX acceleration features
[Start > run > dxdiag > Display (tab) ]
Enable all features in the DirectX Features section

2. Get the latest version of DirectX
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.aspx

3. Get the latest drivers for your video card, from the relevant
manufacturer's website

4. Consider either replacing your video card or computer, if 1-3 fail
